Statement of Faith

We believe that there is only one God Who is infinitely perfect and Who exists eternally in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only-begotten Son of God, born of a virgin through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that He is both true God and true Man, that He was crucified for the sins of the entire human race, that He died and was buried. We believe that on the third day after His death, He arose from the dead and is now alive and seated at the right hand of God the Father. We believe that Jesus Christ earned salvation for the whole man--forgiveness of sins for his spirit, peace for his soul (mind or intellect, emotions, and will), and healing for his body. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father and to eternal life, for He said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6). We believe that Jesus Christ will come again to take with Him those who have received Him as their personal Savior and obeyed Him as their Lord.

We believe that the Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, indwells, guides, teaches, and empowers every believer in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment.

We believe that the Bible, comprised of the Old and the New Testaments, is the inspired Word of God, inerrant as originally given, and that it is a complete revelation of God's will for man.

We believe in the rapture of the church, the Body of Christ. We believe that the dead in Christ will rise first and that, together with them, those who are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet Jesus the Lord in the air.

We believe that after death, one goes to either Heaven or Hell. We believe that where one goes after death depends on one's decision made while one is here on earth. If one accepts Christ as Savior and obeys Him as Lord, one will be born again and go to Heaven. If one does not accept Christ as Savior nor obey Him as Lord, one will go to Hell.

We believe in water baptism in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that water baptism is the outward sign of the inner new birth.

We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

We believe in divine healing, that is, the total restoration of health to one who believes and acts on God's Word. We believe that Jesus Christ alone is the Healer and that by His stripes, we were healed.

We believe in tithing and in the bringing of offerings to the local church. We also believe in giving to and caring for the poor, the sick, the homeless, the imprisoned, and the needy.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust. For the just, it will be a resurrection unto life; for the unjust, a resurrection unto judgment.

We believe that the Word of God is the final authority in every situation and that Jesus Christ Himself is the Word of God. We believe, therefore, in the Name of Jesus and in the authority and power invested in that Name.
